DUTIES OF FIRE WARDENS ARE:
- Check the total floor area -for which you are responsible to ensure that all persons have evacuated the building. Do not forget toilet areas, bunkrooms, etc.
- Close all doors as you check the area
- DO NOT turn off lights
- When the area for which you are responsible is clear, proceed to the Evacuation Control Point at the TOILET & SHOWER BLOCK and report to the Chief Warden. Ensure that the Evacuation Control Board is marked as your area being clear
- Those wardens responsible for security should move to the allocated ground floor entrance and ensure no person re-enters the building until authorised by a Brigade Senior Fire Officer
