Instructions and guidelines for all Raincliff Scout Camp Lodge users
For your safety and comfort and the safety and comfort of those who will use this camp after you, we ask for your co-operation with the following:
- Make sure all people staying at the lodge are familiar with fire exits, fire extinguishers and alarm call points. Do not interfere with or use these unless in an emergency
Note: The alarm is not connected to the fire service - Look after the camp and everyone’s property
- Help each other to enjoy this camp by thinking of each other’s feelings
- Do not run inside, especially up or down the stairs
- Do not tamper with heater thermostat, it is preset
- The confidence course and the flying fox are to be used only while under adult supervision. Return the flying fox dolly to the cupboard near the stairs after use.
- When going anywhere away from the camp (outside the boundary fence), do not go alone. Have a leader’s permission and do not go onto private property without the owner’s permission
- When fire is used make sure of clearance from combustible material. Supervise children and tidy around fire before leaving.
- Vacuum all carpeted areas and sweep and/or wash al i vinyl areas that have been used. Vacuum hose, brooms are in the cupboard near base of stairs.
- Close all windows
- Leave the fridge and freezer turned on
- Make sure all other switches and all lights are turned off
- If there are any housekeeping problems, e.g. light bulbs smoke alarms or other issues requiring our attention, advise booking agent.
- Note any breakages in the camp logbook
- All rubbish is your responsibility. Take it away with you
- Return keys and complete camp Checkout form
